1. Acceptance of Quote
Acceptance of this quotation constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2. Scope of Works
This quotation covers only the works specifically listed in the quote.

Any additional works requested by the client may incur additional charges and will be quoted separately where practical.

3. Existing Concrete Condition
Surface Haus is not responsible for defects in the existing concrete slab, including but not limited to:

• Cracking

• Structural movement

• Delamination

• Moisture-related issues

• Uneven surfaces

• Previous repairs becoming visible

Existing defects may remain visible or become more apparent after coating, resurfacing, grinding, honing, or sealing.

4. Cracking & Movement
Concrete is a natural product and may crack, move, or expand over time.

Surface Haus cannot guarantee against future cracking, joint movement, or reflective cracking occurring through coatings or resurfacing systems.

5. Colour & Finish Variations
Samples and previous projects are indicative only.

Variations in colour, texture, gloss level, aggregate exposure, and overall appearance may occur due to:

• Existing substrate conditions

• Product batches

• Weather conditions

• Application methods

Such variations do not constitute a defect.

6. Moisture Disclaimer
Concrete moisture issues may not always be visible prior to installation.

Surface Haus is not liable for coating failure, bubbling, blistering, whitening, or delamination caused by excessive moisture, hydrostatic pressure, or groundwater movement unless a moisture mitigation system has been specifically quoted and installed.

7. Access & Site Preparation
The client is responsible for ensuring the work area is ready for commencement of works and for providing safe, clear, and unrestricted access to the site.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Removal of vehicles, furniture, equipment, materials, and personal belongings from the work area

• Ensuring any preceding building, renovation, or trade works that may impact the works have been completed

• Providing access to power and water where required

• Ensuring the work area is safe and suitable for the scheduled works

Where Surface Haus is unable to commence or complete the works due to restricted access, site conditions, incomplete site preparation, the presence of other trades, or any other circumstances outside Surface Haus' reasonable control, the works may be rescheduled and reasonable additional charges may apply.

8. Delays
Any commencement or completion dates provided are estimates only.

Surface Haus shall not be liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, site conditions, actions or omissions of the client, delays caused by builders, contractors or other trades, restricted site access, material supply issues, equipment breakdown, variations to the scope of works, utility outages, or unforeseen substrate conditions.

Where delays occur, Surface Haus reserves the right to revise commencement and completion dates accordingly.

Where delays, interruptions, rescheduling, or additional site visits are required due to circumstances beyond Surface Haus' reasonable control, Surface Haus reserves the right to recover any reasonable additional costs incurred, including but not limited to labour, travel, equipment hire, material handling, subcontractor costs, storage costs, and administration expenses.

9. Curing & Use of Surface
The client must comply with all curing and handover instructions.

Surface Haus is not responsible for damage caused by traffic, furniture, chemicals, pets, or water exposure before the recommended curing period has elapsed.

10. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise stated:

• 50% Deposit due upon acceptance of quote

• Balance payable upon completion

Invoices are due within 7 days of issue.

Late payments may incur debt recovery costs, collection fees, and interest as permitted by law.

11. Ownership of Materials
All materials supplied remain the property of Surface Haus until full payment has been received.

12. Warranty
Surface Haus warrants workmanship for a period of 12 months from completion, subject to:

• Normal use

• Correct maintenance

• Compliance with care instructions

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Scratches or impact damage

• Chemical damage

• Staining

• Movement or cracking of the substrate

• Moisture-related failures

• Damage caused by third parties

13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Surface Haus' liability is limited to rectification of defective workmanship.

Surface Haus shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

14. Photographs
Surface Haus may take photographs of completed works and use them for marketing, advertising, social media, website content, and portfolio purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client.

15. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
